From the available materials previously PPR failed on the ground of installation. It required highly skilledplumber otherwise joint was leaking as well as flow of water was reduced.Following illustration will clear previous problem and the solution of the problem.
After heating the dies, outer layer of PPR pipe and inner layer of socket are softened and fused together as shown in fig 1(c).
To get rid of this problem we invented a simple solution by which joints were perfect and flow of water wasnot reduced. This also eliminated, the requirement of highly skilled plumber. Even a laymen can also makeperfect joint.With the following illustration, one can understand joint produced by new innovative process that makes itperfect plumbing material. In fig 2(a) shows a SS316 bush was inserted in the PPR pipe which prevents it fromdecreasing of bore and getting perfect joint as shown in fig 2(c). SS316 bush prevents melt to flow insideresulting in perfect joint and bore of the pipe remaining intact.
COMMERCIAL ASPECTS With this innovative system, the cost per joint increased by approximately Rs. 2 per joint, which is quitenegligible compared to the advantages we get by using this system.By introducing a SS-316 bush the cost increased by Rs. 2 per joint approximately which is negligible comparedto the benefits that we get.Hence with this innovative solution we get the ultimate choice for plumbing.PPR is cost effective as wellindigenous. No raw material is required to be imported.
